Save Venice
Monday, January 28th, 2008What an amazing and memorable weekend! We got back last week from Santa Monica, CA where we were honored to perform at the Save Venice event. The Venetian art deco themed Moonlight on the Lido Ball was held at Santa Monica’s historic Casa del Mar Hotel. We performed three songs, one that we put together especially for the show, a version of Cole Porter’s “True Love”. It was so fantastic to be singing with a live orchestra and band, it was our first time doing that together! We also sang Requiem and Against All Odds off our upcoming album. Hopefully pictures will be floating around soon! We got to wear amazing gowns and jewels both Friday and Saturday night!! It was like we were Cinderellas for the weekend. Now we are getting ready for the tour, back to rehearsals and figuring out what to wear!! All very FUN stuff!!! We will keep you posted!!
